Items & crafting
Every time you craft, stats for items are random. Meaning it can receive extra protection or debuff. Also some of the items can be automaticly upgraded to next tier or downgraded to lower but it will still keep their unique stats. For example, even if stone sword becomes diamond one, it will be still two handed.

The higher your level, the more and better stats it will have.
Item types
Different types of items might have different type of damage as well. For example bow has projectile and weapon damage, meaning, 100% extra damage should be divided by 2. For example, if bow has 8 damage and 300% extra damage, only 4dmg will be boosted, 4x3= 12 in addition 4 as other weapon damage in total 16 dmg in result.
Some of the item types also might have some different attack effect, like AOE attack.
Sword – Default slashing weapon – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Craftable sword – Craftable sword – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Wither skeleton swords – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL, MAGIC.
Magical sword – Magical sword – Damage types: WEAPON, MAGIC.
Dungeon sword – Dungeon-tier sword – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Overworld sword – Overworld sword – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Class sword – Class-specific sword – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Greatsword – Greatsword – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Long sword – Long sword – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Katana – Katana – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Thrusting sword/dagger – Thrusting sword/dagger – Damage types: WEAPON, PHYSICAL.
Bow – Bow – Damage types: WEAPON, PROJECTILE
Greatbow – Greatbow – Damage types: WEAPON, PROJECTILE
Great armor – set of eridium.
Craftable armor – Craftable armor
Overworld runes – Dropped by mobs in overworld.
Ancient gem – NOT YET AVAILABLE.
Hell runes – Dropped by mobs in hell.
Boss gems – NOT YET AVAILABLE
Gem stone – Can be bought from NPC on Box Arena.
The higher mob level, the more and better stats it will have.
Some items might have some requirements to wear, even if you manage to equip locked item but you don't have enough level, class, proffesion etc, stats won't apply.
Item rarities
More rare is item, more chances it will have that it will gain extra gem slot or some specific stats.
Obtaning items
Crafting is not only method for obtaining items, some of the mobs and bosses also drop special items.
Wither Skeleton - Special swords which are locked to level 40 and above.
Ender Dragon - Eridium set, elytra, chestplate, leggings, helmet and boots.
