## How to start survival ?

To begin your survival journey, type /menu in chat, select Survival Warps, then choose Overworld.\
Keep in mind that the Nether resets every night, and the End resets every 3 hours — but only during daytime in real life.

## Step by step guide.

✅Your goal in survival is to level up, and you ask, why is that ?

Your crafting stats based on your level, meaning, higher your level = better gear you get. By this we recommend to visit [leveling guide](/arpg/getting-started/levels.md).

Different type of items have different chances of getting stats and some unique features as well, for example every stone sword will be two handed but have higher dmg at lower levels then diamond one.
