They studied monster genomes while experimenting with the very structure of blocks, believing all matter shared the same primal code. Their goal was to create perfect guardians—beings bound to the world, yet stronger than any creature known.

Their experiments culminated in the construction of a dimensional portal, powered by unstable block matrices and living essence. Instead of a controlled realm, the portal tore open a path to an unknown dimension, one that resisted the laws of stability. From it emerged Fenrir, a colossal entity born of pure chaos, followed by countless monsters that flooded into the world.

Desperate to regain control, the scholars attempted to reach other dimensions through repeated portal recalibrations. Each attempt worsened the instability. The original gateway fractured, collapsing in on itself and giving birth to a Warped Dimension—a realm that shifts and reshapes itself constantly, never the same twice.

The scholars vanished, the portals remain scarred, and the dimensions continue to bleed into reality. Fenrir still roams, bound neither to one world nor another, while the warped realm drifts unpredictably—waiting to be entered again.
